'We played like hell' - Klopp revels in Liverpool show

'We played like hell' - Klopp revels in Liverpool show
Dejan Lovren and Jordan Henderson led the Anfield club to victory with a brilliant first-half display, and their manager affirmed that he was delighted with the showing.
Jurgen Klopp said Liverpool "played football like hell" in their 2-1 Premier League victory over Chelsea on Friday.
The Reds put in an impressive performance at Stamford Bridge, taking a two-goal lead through Dejan Lovren and Jordan Henderson, who scored a sensational effort from 25 yards.
Diego Costa pulled one back for Chelsea in the 61st minute, but they failed to register a shot on target after the Spain international fired straight at Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet four minutes later.
Liverpool comfortably saw out their second successive win at Stamford Bridge, inflicting Antonio Conte's first competitive defeat since taking over at the Blues in the process.
Klopp enjoyed the way his team played football in the first half, but wants to see them control matches throughout the 90 minutes.
"We deserved the lead. We stopped playing how we needed at some points and Chelsea got back into it. We need to learn how we can manage the game with power and 100 per cent concentration," he told Sky Sports.

"We did it really well after they scored. So often Chelsea score in the last few seconds but I don't think they created much and we did well.

"Chelsea are too strong not to have space throughout the game, but in the beginning we were brilliant. We played football like hell and it was brilliant to watch, it was wonderful.
"In the second half it was getting more difficult, with less power, but after they scored their goal we managed it well and they didn't have many chances again.
"I told the lads before the game anything can happen, but if we lose we must lose in our way. There's no guarantee in football."
James Milner once again featured out of position at left-back but Klopp believes his team have proved critics of their activity in the previous transfer window wrong.
"Two weeks ago everybody was asking what's wrong with Liverpool in the transfer market – why have they not got five midfielders and eight new left-backs – but now these boys are starting in one of the most difficult fixtures in football, and we deserve the result tonight," he added.

The Liverpool boss also offered praise for captain Henderson, saying: "He's such a hard worker, he's a young lad with a lot of pressure on his shoulders.
"I don't think that he thought before the season that he'd be playing [at number] six but he's a good player and he can play anywhere."

Diego Costa: I am a bad loser!

Diego Costa: I am a bad loser!
The striker admitted that he cannot stand the idea of defeat and attributes his emotions boiling over to always leaving everything on the pitch to avoid that fate
Chelsea striker Diego Costa says he hates to lose and admits he finds it hard to contain his emotions on the pitch if things do not go his way.
The forward – booked three times in the Blues' first four Premier League games - has often been criticised for his attitude on the pitch.
Nevertheless, he feels his occasionally petulant behaviour is all down to his desire to win after

Conte reveals where David Luiz will play for Chelsea

Conte reveals where David Luiz will play for Chelsea
The Italian insists his new signing's best position is at centre-back, prompting fresh speculation the head coach will utilise his preferred 3-5-2 formation
Antonio Conte has hinted at utilising his preferred 3-5-2 formation at Chelsea after revealing David Luiz will play as a centre-back.
The Brazilian returned to Stamford Bridge in a shock move on deadline day as Conte finally landed the defensive reinforcement he had been seeking for much of the summer.
Conte has used a three-man defence successfully with both Juventus and Italy and now has five first-team players - with Luiz joining Kurt Zouma, John Terry, Gary Cahill and Branislav Ivanovic - capable of playing at centre-back.
"I think David Luiz is a centre-back, he's played a lot of games in that position," Conte told the club's official website.

"I know sometimes he's played as a central midfielder but in my mind the idea is to utilise him in the right position which, for me, is centre-back.
"He's played with Chelsea previously and he will bring a good personality."

RUMOURS: Chelsea to rival Man Utd for Griezmann

RUMOURS: Chelsea to rival Man Utd for Griezmann
The two Premier League giants are long-time admirers of the Atletico Madrid star, with a €100 million release clause not putting off a potential move next summer
Chelsea are ready to rival Manchester United for the signing of Antoine Griezmann, according to The Telegraph .
The Stamford Bridge outfit have been tracking the Atletico Madrid for two years and are wary of United stepping up their own interest.
Griezmann has a €100m (£84m) release clause on the contract he signed in June, but the figure is not putting off Antonio Conte & Co.
The Italian made offers for both Alvaro Morata and Romelu Lukaku during the summer, in addition to the £30 million signing of Michy Batshuayi from Marseille, and are now prepared to wait nearly a year to land a big-name striker.

Swaggering Chelsea have their fear factor back

Swaggering Chelsea have their fear factor back

The Blues played superbly as they comfortably defeated newly-promoted Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, with Eden Hazard in simply sublime form on the left flank

Chelsea have their fear factor back.
For large swathes of last season Stamford Bridge became a house of horrors for the Blues, as they failed to win consecutive home matches throughout a 2015-16 campaign that ultimately saw them finish 10th. They were beaten by the likes of Crystal Palace, AFC Bournemouth and Southampton in their own backyard, the atmosphere soon turning poisonous as the club slipped down the table.
Antonio Conte, though, has come in and restored the pride in this Chelsea side, as well as the swaggering, cocksure confidence that comes with winning matches every week. Chelsea are starting to do that, and on Saturday they truly clicked, in superb fashion.
Conte has a reputation for moulding his teams quickly, for extracting absolute commitment out of every one of his players; already his ideas have taken hold in west London.
No longer are Chelsea leaden, ponderous and profligate; they have become breathtakingly quick on the break, superbly efficient in midfield and deadly in front of goal.
Eden Hazard, of all those to feature under Jose Mourinho in his toxic final season, has rescued his career from the doldrums. No longer is the Belgian unsure in the final third, apparently awaiting instruction from elsewhere. He is now back to his truly world-class best, scoring a quite sensational goal to open the scoring and remind supporters that he is perhaps the most likely Premier League player to match the superhuman abilities of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
His opener was a prime example. Collecting the ball in his own half Hazard crossed halfway, dropped a shoulder here, shimmied there, and found half a yard. Within a second he had fired, the ball barrelling past Tom Heaton and nestling in the bottom corner.
Conte must harness Hazard’s power throughout the season, he is undoubtedly the club’s best player and is nigh-on unstoppable when he plays as well as he did against the Clarets. He unleashed his full array of tricks, bewildering Matthew Lowton, Burnley's right-back, every time he received the ball, continually cutting inside to either test Heaton or play in a team-mate. The former Aston Villa defender's head must have been spinning come full-time.
Of course Chelsea will face bigger tests; matches against the two Manchester clubs will surely produce classic encounters, while Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal will all be out to halt their momentum.
But Chelsea will surely relish each challenge. Burnley were lambs to the slaughter, clearly drained after their somewhat heroic exertions in a shock 2-0 win over Liverpool last weekend. They could not pass the ball at all in the final third and were subsequently reduced to merely defending once they fell behind.
Chelsea were so much more precise, so much cleaner, as they launched wave after wave of attack to the delight of the home support.
The second came just before half-time, as Willian sent a fine low finish past Heaton after fine hold-up play from Diego Costa, who terrorised the visitors’ back-four. Substitute Victor Moses added a third late on, meeting Pedro's cross on the slide to wrap up a truly impressive victory.
Conte, who celebrated Willian’s goal wildly, conducted the orchestra from the sidelines, never ceasing his gesticulating for the entire 90 minutes. He knows what he wants and he will not hesitate to tell a player if he thinks they are not giving enough.
Branislav Ivanovic, for example, was reprimanded in the first-half after failing to overlap Willian on the right flank; the pair’s conversation took place as the ball was in play but, such was Chelsea’s dominance, it ultimately mattered little.
Ivanovic is perhaps the weak link in this Blues side; he is beaten too easily too often and has an alarming lack of pace on the turn, but if defensive reinforcements are signed in the final days of the transfer window – and Conte has said that he is looking, with a number of targets reportedly on his shortlist – this Chelsea team will be a frightening prospect indeed.
Given last season’s absolute crisis, Chelsea needed to hit the ground running in 2016-17. Following nervy wins over both West Ham and Watford they appear to have found a formula that can carry them to a Premier League title challenge.
If they continue to play as they did on Saturday then few will bet against them going all the way again.

Conte: I don't understand Costa criticism

The Blues boss believes the Spain international is picked on unfairly and hopes he can channel his anger elsewhere for the good of the English game
Conte: I don't understand Costa criticism

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has revealed he does not understand those who choose to criticise striker Diego Costa for his on-field behaviour.
The Spain international has been booked for dissent during both of the Blues's first two Premier League matches of the season, with many believing he should have seen red after further misdemeanors later in both games.
Conte has defended his player, but has called on the former Atletico Madrid forward to stay focused on the match once he steps out onto the field.
"I don't understand that other players or managers or press all say bad (things) about him," he told reporters.
"Diego must be focused on the match. Because for me, the most important thing is the match - it's important to pay attention, because he is an important player and he can score a lot of goals and I want him to put himself in the game and not to think of other situations.
"Because it's not good for him, for me, for Chelsea or the fans. I think for the English league, this is no good.

"Have I spoken to him about it? Yes, I try to speak to all my players – all together and individually and its important to have these relations. But when I speak to them, I keep it between ourselves."

RUMOURS: Chelsea to bid £60m for Koulibaly

RUMOURS: Chelsea to bid £60m for Koulibaly
Chelsea have moved to sign Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly in a deal that could cost a club-record £60 million, according to the Daily Telegraph.
Antonio Conte has brought in N'Golo Kante and Michy Batshuayi this summer and is looking to further strengthen his team before the end of the month.
A deal for Koulibaly may not mark the end of Chelsea's business, the report claims, with Romelu Lukaku still in their sights despite Everton's reluctance to sell

Chelsea 2-1 West Ham: Diego Costa sets Conte era off with a bang

The Spain international's 89th minute winner was a warning to any incoming striker to Stamford Bridge that he considers himself the main man
Chelsea 2-1 West Ham: Diego Costa sets Conte era off with a bang
Antonio Conte may still be keen to add another striker to his Chelsea squad, but Diego Costa sent his manager a message that, whether Romelu Lukaku joins or not, he is ready and willing to lead the line at Stamford Bridge.
The Spain international scored a last minute winner against London rivals West Ham as Conte took charge of Chelsea for the first time in the Premier League
His strike saved Chelsea from a disappointing draw after James Collins struck an equaliser against the run of play to cancel out Eden Hazard's earlier strike.
Conte finds himself still chasing two players despite already kicking off the Premier League campaign, with Lukaku his main target to improve their forward line.
But while it was hardly a vintage performance for the current first-choice centre-forward, he proved he still has the ability to pop up with goals when the Blues most need them.
Costa's strike went against the run of play for him as he frustrated by missing chances all evening, and he should have been sent off for a late foul on West Ham's goalkeeper Adrian.
He will still have to do more to improve his all-round game, having completed a meagre five passes in the first half. Costa's volatile temperament must also come under control, as he received a booking for dissent under new Premier League rules that will oblige players to keep their thoughts about referees strictly personal.
Nevertheless, the goal is the confidence boost the 27-year-old needed, especially after a summer of uncertainty with Atletico Madrid looking to sign him - leaving him distracted during Chelsea's pre-season tour.
Costa was also dropped by Spain for Euro 2016 and was one of many players to suffer poor form under Jose Mourinho, but he has sent a message to Conte that he is still capable of firing the goals required this season.
And if Lukaku does come back to west London, he will certainly have a battle on his hands to take Costa's role at Chelsea.

Who Will The English Premier League?

                                      THE PREMIER LEAGUE PREVIEW

The premier league 2016\2017 Season kicks off on the 13th of August, we certainly will be seeing new faces in the EPL this Season.
Some teams looks prepared to may have brought some signings to play a major role in the squad. Manchester United looks prepared to have  Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mkhitaryan, Bailly and the man bought with the world record fee worth 89m Euros, Paul Pogba from Juventus. And they also have Jose Mourihno to Manage the team, The Red Devils should be watched out for.

Liverpool also have brought some new faces to the squad Matip, Klavan, Karius and Mane from Southampton and Jurgen Kloop is doing a great job with the Club reaching two Finals in his first tenure as manager of the club and they are expected to perform better since they won't be participating in the Europa and Champions League this season.

Chelsea happen to have Conte as the Manager and completed the signing of Kante from the Premier League Champions Leicester City and Batshuayi from Marseille. They performed not as expected last season which led to the sack of Jose Mourihno, so much is expected from them this season they also won't be featured in the Champions League.

Manchester CIty are also contenders for the title having signed Borussia Dortmund star Iker Gundogan, Stones from Everton, Sane, Nolito and Mooy and the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich Manager, Pep Guardiola  as the Manager of  Manchester City, so much is expected from the  manager and club.
Arsenal on the otherside doesn't look prepared failing to complete some signings only able to sign Xhaka from Borussia Mochengladbach, They were  speculations of Mahrez of Leicester City joining Arsenal but still nothing yet and they also have injured players, But Arsene Wenger assures fan that some players would be joining the club before the transfer window closes.

Lets also not forget the Champions Leicester City who perform brillantly last season hopefully they would keep it that way this time around and they will be involved in Champions League football. Thier pre-season football is not what thier fans would want from them this season with losing 4 - 0 to PSG, 4 - 2 to Barcelona  and they also lost the Community Shield to Jose Mourihno's side, Manchester United with the new signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic heading in the winning goal in the die minutes of the game.

Tottenham hotspur has always been a problem for the top teams in the Epl,so they also to be watched out for. They will be playing in the Champions League and hopefully they would perform better than last season.

Who do you think will be the winner of the English Premier League this season?
